A. No, our practice provides injury related treatment to people of all ages or skill level. This is includes elite and recreational athletes as well as less active members of the community, children and senior patients.

A. No you do not need a referral to see any of the doctors at Sports Clinic NQ. If you do have a referral however, please be sure to bring it along with you as well as any other relevant medical information.

A. Yes, we see all patients including visits relating to WorkCover claims.
Please note, if your visit is WorkCover related, depending on which doctor you are seeing, you may require a referral so please check with reception prior to your visit.
We also ask that all WorkCover visits are paid for at the time until your claim has been approved and are able to provide your claim number.
A. We are a private billing clinic so there will be an out of pocket expense. You will however receive a medicare rebate.
The fee will vary based on a number of factors – the visit length, the doctor, if any further procedures were performed.
Prior explanation and patient approval will always be obtained prior to performing a procedure.
Please feel free to discuss any further fee related queries with reception.

A. If you are attending for an injury related condition, on most occasions our doctors will need to conduct an medical examination which will generally involve a series of movements. We therefore request that you wear non restrictive clothing non revealing clothing.

A. Please have a shower..
A treatment option offered at our clinic is an injection which is sometimes useful in accelerating recovery.
As with any invasive procedure there is always a risk of infection and therefore we take all possible steps to reduce this risk which includes adhering to infection control standards.
As a patient you can reduce your risk of infection by making sure your skin is clean (by bathing).

A. If you have a problem we would like to hear about it. We take your concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. Experience has shown that if you have a problem with one of our doctors it is best to speak with him or her first. If you are still unhappy or have a problem with another member of our staff you can write a letter to:
